Tenbury Wells Fire Station is one of twenty-seven fire stations, which make up Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service. The station covers an area of approximately 32 square miles and attends an average of two to three fire or rescue calls per week. A large part of our "patch" is Shropshire area; however, we provide emergency cover to these areas as the nearest station. This map shows our approximate turnout area. Dependant on the accuracy of addresses passed to fire control, we attend incidents within the red line. We also attend some incidents outside of the red line with neighbouring stations and when they are already deployed at other incidents.
The map below shows our location within the service and in relation to other stations. Due to a joint Hereford and Worcester and Shropshire control room function whereby both services are able to mobilise each others resources, (due to come online in the near future) both counties fire and rescue service areas are shown. Each service however, remain as two separate services, under the control of their own respective authorities. Tenbury Wells is located on the county boundary between Worcestershire and Shropshire.
