Car Wash - 20 March 2010
TENBURY
WELLS firefighters held their charity car wash as part of national car
wash day on 20 March 2010. Crews would like to thank everyone for
their very generous donations, that amounted to £341.45 at the car
wash, and £51.16 at a collection in The Little Fish Shop. The
total is £392.61. The profits being split between "The Fire
Fighters Charity" and "Fight 4 Life for Dave Taylor".

Dave is the Watch Manager at Leominster Fire Station, and requires
funding to pay for cancer treatment. Dave has received treatment
from the NHS, but now needs different treatment at a cost.
Pictured below is the car wash held on
the Palmers Meadow Car Park. Thanks to Tenbury Town Council for
allowing the use of the car park, Hatton Stores in Teme Arcade for
reduced price wash and wax, buckets and sponges and to Graham for the collection.
