Three Peaks Challenge 2008
Pictured here is Graham Wood, handing over a cheque of £500 for "The Fire Fighters Charity", to Watch Manager Dave James and Charity Rep / Firefighter, Dan James (Front), watched by Tenbury firefighters: L-R FF Roy James, FF Neil May, CM Ashley James, FF Mark Houchin, FF John Higgins, FF John Davies, FF Mark Mason and FF Pete Whitby. The Three Peaks Challenge is to climb the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales (Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon) within 24 hours, including travel time. Graham and his team completed the challenge in a time of 17 hours, 26 minutes over 26th-27th June.
