Tenbury Wells Fire Station, is one of eight stations within Hereford and Worcester which are able to deploy Water First Responder teams. These teams are able to perform bank side rescues and are able to make a shallow water entry to affect a rescue or evacuation using wading techniques.  They are also equipped with an inflatable evacuation sled.

The WFR crews can also assist Water Rescue Teams (based at Hereford, Worcester and Evesham) at water rescue and flooding incidents.
