On 1st April 2007, Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service moved away from the existing rank structure, and moved to a new role based structure. As a result of this change, there have been changes made to the insignia worn on epaulettes and a change of helmet markings as shown below. At a station level, Leading Firefighters have become Crew Managers and Sub Officers have become Watch Managers. New Role Structure. |
